Content: salon details, logo and salon photos

The Content section holds the words, links, logo and salon photos that appear across your website.

Site content: your salon details

The Site content card has these fields:

  • Salon name: your business name as it appears on your site.
  • Phone number: the number clients call or text.
  • Tagline: one short line that sums up your salon.
  • Welcome paragraph: a few sentences introducing your salon.
  • Promo banner: a short message shown on your site, such as a seasonal offer (up to 120 characters). Leave it empty if you don't want a banner.
  • Address: used for directions on your site.

Press Save content when you are done.

When the change shows: your live site shows it within 2 minutes of saving. Refresh the page to see the change. More about live site updates.

Social links

Under Social links, add your Instagram, Facebook, TikTok and YouTube. Type your username or paste the full link. Leave a field empty to hide that icon. Social links are saved with Save content.

Showing your Instagram posts on your site is a separate step. See Instagram.

The Logo card works best with a transparent PNG. Your logo shows on your site and in the console header.

  1. Press Upload / crop logo (or Replace / crop logo if you already have one) and choose the file. It must be under 12 MB.
  2. In Crop logo, drag the image to position it and use Zoom to size it.
  3. Press Use logo. It saves straight away.

To take your logo off, press Remove and confirm.

Logo and photo stamp on your before and after photos

Lustre stamps your before and after photos so they carry your brand when shared. Under Stamp on your photos, choose:

  • Stamp photos with your salon name, Stamp photos with your logo (upload a logo first) or No stamp.
  • Stamp size: Small, Medium or Large.
  • Stamp position: Bottom right, Bottom left, Bottom centre, Top right or Top left.

The preview shows your newest look with your choice. Nothing changes until you press Save stamp. The stamp is one setting for all your looks: saving re-stamps the looks already on your site too. Photos added straight to the photo strip keep the stamp they were added with.

Salon photos: banner image and photo strip

The Salon photos card is for styled shots of your salon. Before and after photos of clients are managed separately, under Before & after.

  • Banner image is the large photo at the top of your homepage. Landscape works best. Press Upload banner or Replace banner.
  • Photo strip is the set of photos in your site's gallery. Press + Add photo and choose a photo. Drag it to move it and use Zoom (or pinch on a phone) to choose what shows in the frame, then press Add to photo strip. Press Remove under a photo to take it off your site.

Your site holds up to 24 photos, newest first, and approved before and after looks count towards them. Adding a photo when there are already 24 removes the oldest one from your site, and the console tells you when this happens.

Photos must be under 8 MB. Each upload and removal saves straight away.
